Hatha Yoga Flow with Lorna Chapman
Lorna has been teaching yoga in Hampshire for almost 12 years. She is also trained as a translator and speaks several languages, but now teaches yoga full time. She trained with The British Wheel of Yoga in London and also with Kevala Complementary Health Education.
Lorna draws her inspiration from many styles of yoga, including Ashtanga, Iyengar, Vini and Kundalini, which has led her to develop her own style of Hatha Yoga Flow. During her teaching, she offers alternative poses and exercises, making her classes accessible to a wide range of abilities. Lorna is also interested in how yoga can benefit sports people.
Alongside the opportunity to relax and unwind away from the hustle and bustle of daily life at home, this holiday offers you the chance to deepen your practice, study postures in more detail and possibly master that pose you thought you would never achieve!
The twice daily sessions will include asana, pranayama, chanting, meditation and relaxation.
The morning class will include a dynamic flow followed by more in-depth asana studies.
The evening class will be a gentler, more yin-based flow, followed by holding poses for longer to allow the mind and body to relax and release.
Lorna emphasizes that it is important to work at your own level and will adapt postures according to your individual needs where necessary. Both classes end with a lying relaxation.
Lorna has a light-hearted approach to life and to yoga and intends her holidays to be fun, energising and refreshing.

Hi Lorna, Sorry about long delay in replying but life seems to get in the way of the important things sometime! A big thank you for all the pics and I will show my daughters Rosie and Beth as they have booked for Kissimos at the end of September! Rosie hasn't been long back from La Gomera with Free Spirit and Geoff and I have booked for your course in October 2017 so I feel that it is becoming a bit compulsive!
We both had such a wonderful week with you and our lovely group that we felt quite bereft for a while when we returned. I went to my pilates class the day after and it felt like a 'piece of cake' and I couldn't believe just how easy it was so must look for a yoga class to push myself more.
I hope that all is well with you and thank you again for a lovely experience,
Love from us both,
Cathy and Geoff. xxx
