Dru Yoga with Edith Ewald

Edith has been practising a variety of different styles of yoga for almost 20 years. She is qualified in Dru yoga, a flowing style of Hatha yoga and in Restorative yoga and has been teaching in gyms, yoga studios and at workplaces in London since 2009. She has recently begun offering regular yoga classes at Champney's Spa Hotels. 

Edith has also trained as an Ayurvedic Diet & Lifestyle and is currently studying to become a nutrition therapist.

Edith will be teaching more dynamic and energising sequences and yoga postures in the morning session.

The emphasis during the evening class will be more on gentle sequences and poses. Pranayama (breathing exercises) and meditation will be part of the teaching.

At the end of the holiday you should be able to incorporate easy breathing exercises and a couple of yoga sequences into your at-home yoga practise.

(There will be one day mid-holiday without any yoga so that you can venture further afield on excursions exploring the area, or simply spend the day relaxing by the pool or on the beach or treat yourself to a Hammam experience.)

Just a quick note to say how much I enjoyed my trip to Dalyan! The hotel was a little paradise and the staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful. And the yoga sessions with Edith were wonderfully relaxing, just what I needed!
